Swoopes Hoops Elite youth athletic program is a non-profit organization that serves as a platform for student-athletes to develop their basketball talent and provide national exposure. Our fundamental goals are to enhance the skills and success of our players while creating an avenue that provides them with opportunities to earn a college scholarship. Our organization is an extended family committed to the growth of our players and their families; our culture is founded on the principles of academic excellence, work ethic, character, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. We strive for excellence on and off the basketball court to instill life lessons.
Our founder Sheryl Swoopes
Swoopes Hoops Elite was founded by Sheryl Swoopes in 2022. Sheryl is regarded as one of the greatest female athletes of all time. She was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. Shery; was the first player signed to the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), and with the introduction of the Nike Air Swoopes in 1995, Sheryl became the first female athlete to have a Nike Signature Shoe named after her. Sheryl is a 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist, 4-time WNBA Champion, and a NCAA National Champion.

Founded in 2010 by Mike Lyons, Role-tation is a company that offers a collective of services, both on and off the court, ranging from private coaching for pro and collegiate basketball players, to basketball camp development, through to basketball related consultancy. Swoopes Hoops Elite was co-founded by Mike Lyons in 2022 and is facilitated through Role-Tation.
